Yes, people want to move quickly to action, and doing so helps keep their interest.  Another good way to save time is to use someone else to demonstrate the task or skill.  And of course, a rehearsal or two will help you work out the kinks and get your timing down.]]></description>

I find that the explanation step can take longer than it should, depending on the teacher and his personality. For teaching drill, for example, I would only give myself 30 seconds for that step before I had the flight try the maneuver. That way no one is getting bored and I get to see what they thought I was trying to say. Clarity in this step is key.]]></description>
