When I found the picture of the people trekking through the desert, I knew that was the perfect picture for this post – been there! Sometimes I’d rather actually be hiking, than sitting there praying for the presenter to say, “next slide…”

I have also seen well made, well presented power point presentations. Power point can be a good tool if you don’t over do it. I recommend knowing your audience- if they have just returned from a grueling 10 mile march you are going to need to keep it very brief and interactive as opposed to an audience who has had a pleasant, relaxing morning and has no where to go later in the day. Come prepared. If the audience figures out that you don’t know what you’re talking about, can you expect them to pay attention?
