Yes, that’s important too. Then proofread what the spell check does – sometimes it doesn’t go a good job of guessing what you were trying to type, with some embarrassing results!

I should have mentioned before to always proof read before you send. It doesn’t work so well to realize what you left out after it has already sent. I have seen this done, (and done it my self) more than I should have. With fancy gizmos like Spellcheck proof reading does not take very long, and the professionalism gained is well worth the extra time spent.

I agree. Someone once jokingly asked, what do people do with all the extra time they save by typing that way? It’s better to make the effort to be as clear as possible – it helps you get the message across, and also reflects positively on your professionalism. Thanks for the comment!
